One of the big headaches as a small producer is distribution and how you get your product to that one customer 50 miles away. Well now we have teamed up with Nectar Imports these worries are put to one side, and for all free houses across the south you’ll be pleased to know that you can now order Harry’s through Nectar, based near Salisbury.
They have a large fleet of vehicles that cover London, Southampton, Bournemouth, Exeter, Bristol, Bath, Reading and surrounding areas.
Having Nectar as a new distributor enables pubs, festivals and all on-trade to discover our fantastic range of products, giving them a great feel for Award Winning heritage cider that is made in the heart of Somerset, representing the true flavour and character to this area. Our Ciders are made with vintage and heritage apple varieties, such as Yarlington Mill, Browns Apple, Dabinett, Harry Masters Jersey and Chisel Jersey which create full bodied ciders high in tannin and with a light acidity.
With an increased production of 40 000 litres here at Harry’s, it has enabled us to cope with these new distributors coming on board and broaden our area of stockists, reaching out to consumers who are new to the craft cider scene. Although our volumes have increased our ethos at Harry’s remains the same – to produce cider with the best quality fruit from our local orchards, maintaining a minimum maturation period of 6 months, no concentrate, just lovely fresh pressed Somerset Apples.
